WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD MADRID SLY AND TWEETY IN SPAIN

The Six Flags group opened their eighth European theme park on April 5, adding to the already existing three Walibi parks in France, two in Belgium (Six Flags Belgium and Bellewaerde), Six Flags in Holland, and Warner Bros. Movie World in Germany. It is in Spain that the group has set up its latest attraction dedicated to Toon celebrities. Located 28 km outside Madrid in San Martin de la Vega, the theme park has the potential of attracting 6 million visitors within a radius of up to 30 km . Expand this radius to include those within an hour's drive from the park, and the projected figure rises to a walloping 8 million visitors.
The arrival of Tweety Bird, Sylvester, Bugs Bunny & Co. has created some 4200 jobs. With a budget of 380 million euros, the park covers an area of 150 hectares(a further 60 hectares has been used for hotel development and another 40 hectares for commercial purposes)...and all that is without counting the investment gone into the additional roads and railways constructed to facilitate access to the site.

MANY ATTRACTIONS !!!

WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD MADRID
The park is divided into six themes: Hollywood Boulevard, Cartoon Village, The Wild West, Super Heroes Land and Warner Bros. Studio. This combination of magnificent gardens, quality shows, and impressive rides is meant to reproduce the charmed and surreal atmosphere of Hollywood. Among rides, the high points of the park are the aquatic rides and the roller coasters. In the first category, El Canal del Rio Bravo and Las Cataratas Salvajes (the Savage Torrents) are a must. Among the five roller coaster rides, you'd probably want to check out Batman, The Wild West which is made of wood, and Superman which peaks at fifty meters off the ground and reaches speeds of up to 100 km/h. Yet another one for the thrill seekers, La Venganza del Enigma is basically a 100-meter free fall (or just about) (photo this page).
The Chinese Theatre which screens a 3D movie and The Mask, based on the film of the same name, are just two among the various shows the park has to offer.
