A SEA LIFE DEDICATED TO THE NORTH SEA
After the recent opening of a centre in Helsinki, Sea Life will inaugurate its 15th site at Dortmund on July 19.
Similar to the Parisian and Finnish centres, Sea Life Dortmund is in an area with a lot of traffic: the Westfalen Park, situated in the heart of Dortmund, is a large green area that includes a number of interesting sites and walks.
And as it has done with the other two centres, Sea Life has adapted its contents to the environment of the centre. The accent is therefore on the fauna of the North Sea. It is, in fact, uniquely devoted to the North Sea, and that is what differentiates it from the other centres. Another difference is its relatively small size: 1000 meters squared. It is nevertheless big enough for you to discover that the the North Sea has-who would have guessed?-sharks, rays, and even sea horses.
