SPLASH IN SPAIN
A new aquatic park opened its doors in Spain last May. The climate of the Iberian Peninsula is ideal for aquatic parks, which no doubt explains the increasing number of projects of this type. This Aqualand, which covers 5 hectares, has around a dozen main attractions one of which gets its inspiration from the Tower of Belem, a must-see tourist site in Lisbon. In fact, this new Aqualand, located in Badajoz, is only a few kilometres away from the Portuguese border. The park expects to attract 300,000 visitors annually.
